Scammers are exploiting our name, "Dremio", by impersonating our website and falsely claiming association with Dremio as part of a widespread job recruitment scam. This fraudulent operation encompasses impersonations of over 1,000 companies, with scammers predominantly targeting individuals through social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, WhatsApp and Telegram.

It's important to note that Dremio does not engage in recruitment activities through WhatsApp, Telegram, or any other direct messaging platforms apart from email and, during the interview process, phone communications. Furthermore, we never solicit sensitive personal or financial information without prior solicitation, nor do we endorse employment opportunities that necessitate upfront payments or promise unrealistic returns. All legitimate job openings at Dremio are exclusively posted on our official careers page at https://www.dremio.com/careers/. We urge you to apply for Dremio positions solely through this designated channel.

How to Recognize this type of Scam:

This scam typically materializes through social media and messaging platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, WhatsApp and Telegram.

• Unexpected Job Offers: Receiving unsolicited employment offers from entities claiming affiliation with reputable companies.
• Solicitation of Personal Information: Premature requests for sensitive personal or financial details.
• Demands for Upfront Payments: Job offers requiring initial investments or fees.
• Promise of High Returns for Minimal Effort: Offers guaranteeing substantial rewards for minimal work.
• Urgency and Secrecy: Requests for immediate action accompanied by demands for confidentiality.
• Domain Name Changes: Frequent alterations to the URL provided by the scammer.

How to Safeguard Yourself:
