To help solution providers who operate a big data practice—or those thinking of starting one—CRN has developed the Big Data 100, an annual list of the most important big data technology vendors the channel should be aware of.
As with prior years, this ninth edition of the list includes many of the IT industry’s biggest vendors and established suppliers of data management and business analytics products. But it also includes startups and young companies that develop breakthrough technologies that solution providers could adopt, providing themselves and their customers with a competitive edge.
This year’s list is made up of five categories of big data technology: business analytics, database systems, data management and integration tools, big data systems and platforms, and data science and machine learning tools. Slide shows for each category, along with a slide show of the emerging big data vendors across all categories, will be running throughout the week.
